At Magrid, we’re always looking for new ways to expand learning opportunities for children. Through ongoing research, development, and feedback from educators around the world, we’re continually improving the program to keep learning engaging, challenging, and meaningful.
We’re excited to announce that more than 350 new activities will be added to Magrid before the end of August.
One of the biggest areas of growth is our Cognitive Skills content. Many schools told us that towards the end of the school year, some students were completing all available activities and were ready for a greater challenge. In response, we’ve developed a large collection of more advanced tasks to extend learning and continue building essential cognitive skills.
We’ve also significantly expanded our Working Memory activities. Working memory plays an important role in learning across all areas of education and is particularly important for many children with additional learning needs. These new activities provide even more opportunities to strengthen this fundamental cognitive skill through Magrid’s engaging, language-free approach.

Another exciting addition is a brand new challenge that extends one of our most popular Hand-Eye Coordination activities. In the later levels of Connect the Dots, children will now be challenged to connect every possible combination of points on the screen without the guidance of a template. While visually distinct from the earlier versions, this new activity builds directly on the skills developed throughout the program, encouraging planning, visual scanning, accuracy, and persistence.
We’re also introducing a new Symbolic Number Comparison activity. Using the internationally recognised “crocodile mouth” concept, children learn to compare quantities with the < and > symbols in a familiar, visual, and engaging way. This provides an intuitive introduction to mathematical notation while supporting the concepts that underpin later mathematics learning.
Our team is currently completing the final stages of testing to ensure every activity meets the high standards expected from Magrid. We can’t wait to share these new learning experiences with you and your students very soon.
Every new release is shaped by the teachers, schools, and families who use Magrid every day. Thank you for helping us continue to grow.
