What are cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small text files or pieces of information that may be stored on a User’s browser, device, or terminal when the User visits a website or uses an online service. Cookies may allow the website or service to recognise the User’s device, remember certain choices, maintain security, measure audience, analyse performance, improve the User experience, or, where applicable, support advertising and marketing activities.
Similar technologies may include pixels, tags, scripts, local storage, software development kits, device identifiers, and other tracking technologies that allow information to be collected or read from a browser, device, or terminal. For the purposes of this Cookie Policy, references to cookies shall include cookies and similar tracking technologies, unless the context requires otherwise.

- Marketing and advertising cookies: cookies and similar technologies that may be used to measure advertising campaigns, attribute conversions, build or measure audiences, deliver personalised or non-personalised advertising, or conduct remarketing activities. LetzMath does not currently use marketing and advertising cookies for Magrid, but may add such technologies in the future, subject to the User’s prior consent where required and to the relevant update of the cookie banner and/or this Cookie Policy.

LetzMath may use, or may in the future use, cookies and similar technologies provided by the following tools and providers. Google Tag Manager itself is primarily a tag management tool; however, the tags deployed through it may involve cookies or similar technologies depending on the relevant configuration and User consent.

- Mouseflow: may be used for website analytics, session replay, heatmaps, form analytics, funnels, and usability analysis, in order to better understand how Users interact with the Services and to improve usability. LetzMath will endeavour to configure such tools so that sensitive fields are not recorded where this is available and appropriate.
- Microsoft Clarity: may be used for behavioural analytics, heatmaps, session recordings, performance measurement, and usability improvement of the Services.
- Google Ads: may be used in the future for advertising measurement, conversion tracking, campaign attribution, audience creation, remarketing, or delivery of advertisements. LetzMath does not currently use Google Ads marketing cookies for Magrid, but may add them in the future subject to applicable consent requirements.

Information that may be collected through cookies
Depending on the type of cookie and technology used, LetzMath and/or its service providers may collect certain information when a User accesses or uses the Services. Such information may include, without limitation:
- IP address or truncated/anonymised IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system and system settings;
- referring URLs, pages visited, time spent on pages, date and time of visit, click paths, navigation behaviour and interaction events;
- approximate location derived from technical information such as IP address, subject to the limitations of the relevant technology;
- cookie identifiers, device identifiers or other online identifiers;
- language preferences, display choices and other settings selected by the User;
- information relating to consent choices and cookie preferences;
- advertising campaign information, conversion events and attribution information, if and when advertising technologies are implemented subject to applicable consent requirements.
The information collected through cookies may, in certain circumstances, qualify as personal data. In such cases, LetzMath will process such personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws and the Privacy Policy.
Legal basis and consent
Strictly necessary cookies may be used without the User’s prior consent where they are required for the transmission of a communication over an electronic communications network or are strictly necessary to provide a service expressly requested by the User.
Cookies that are not strictly necessary, including analytics, performance, experience improvement, and marketing cookies, will be used only where the User has provided prior consent, unless another exemption is available under applicable law. Consent must be freely given, specific, informed, and unambiguous. Users may refuse non-essential cookies without being prevented from accessing the Services, subject to any features that may technically rely on a cookie or technology that the User has rejected.
Where consent is relied upon, Users may withdraw their consent at any time through the cookie settings made available on the Services or by adjusting their browser settings, without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.
Cookie banner and management of preferences
When required, LetzMath may display a cookie banner or consent management tool allowing Users to accept, reject, or customise non-essential cookies. Users may also be provided with the possibility to change their cookie preferences at any time through a “Cookie Settings,” “Cookie Preferences,” or similar link made available on the Services.
The choices made by Users may be stored in a consent cookie or similar technology for the purpose of remembering such choices. If the User deletes cookies from the browser or uses another browser or device, the User may be asked to make a new choice.
Third-party cookies and international transfers
Some cookies and similar technologies may be provided by third-party service providers acting as processors, independent controllers, or joint controllers, depending on the tool and the relevant processing activity. These third parties may process information collected through cookies in accordance with their own privacy policies, cookie notices, contractual terms, and applicable law.
Where information collected through cookies is transferred outside the European Economic Area, LetzMath will rely, where required, on appropriate safeguards or valid transfer mechanisms under applicable data protection laws, including, where applicable, adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses, supplementary measures, or another transfer mechanism recognised under the GDPR.
Users are encouraged to consult the privacy and cookie information provided by the relevant third-party providers for additional information on how such providers process data, including Google, Mouseflow, Microsoft, LinkedIn, and Meta.
Retention of cookies
Cookies may remain on the User’s browser, device, or terminal for different periods depending on their purpose and configuration. Session cookies are deleted when the User closes the browser, while persistent cookies remain for a defined period unless deleted earlier by the User or by the browser settings.
LetzMath will endeavour to set cookie durations that are proportionate to the purpose for which the cookies are used. The exact duration of each cookie may be displayed in the cookie banner, cookie settings tool, or other information made available on the Services. Where applicable, User consent choices will be stored only for the period necessary to remember the User’s preferences and comply with applicable requirements.

How Users can disable cookies
Most web browsers are set to accept cookies by default. Users may configure their browser to remove cookies, reject cookies, block certain categories of cookies, or alert them when cookies are being placed. The method for doing so depends on the browser and device used by the User.
If Users choose to remove or reject cookies, this may affect certain features, functionalities, or services of the Services, including features that rely on remembering preferences, maintaining sessions, or providing a personalised experience.
Do-Not-Track signals
Some browsers and mobile operating systems include a Do-Not-Track (DNT) feature or setting that can be activated to signal a preference not to have online browsing activities monitored and collected. As no uniform technology standard for recognising and implementing DNT signals has been finalised, LetzMath does not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates the User’s choice not to be tracked online. If a standard for online tracking is adopted that LetzMath must follow in the future, LetzMath will inform Users about that practice in a revised version of this Cookie Policy.
Relationship with the Privacy Policy
The use of cookies may involve the processing of personal data. Further information on how LetzMath collects, uses, stores, shares and protects personal data, and on the rights of Users in relation to their personal data, is available in the Privacy Policy
In particular, Users may have the right to request access to personal data concerning them, request rectification or deletion of such data, request restriction of processing, object to processing, request data portability, and lodge a complaint with a competent supervisory authority, subject to the conditions and limitations provided by applicable law.
Amendment of this Cookie Policy
LetzMath may amend and update this Cookie Policy at any time, in particular to reflect changes in the cookies and similar technologies used, changes in the Services, changes in applicable law or guidance, or changes in the providers engaged by LetzMath. The updated version will be effective as soon as it is made accessible on the Services, unless otherwise stated.
LetzMath therefore invites Users to frequently check the latest version of this Cookie Policy provided on its website. If material changes are made to this Cookie Policy, LetzMath may notify Users either by prominently posting a notice of such changes or by directly sending a notification where appropriate.
Acceptance of this Cookie Policy
Users confirm their awareness of this Cookie Policy by accessing or using the Services. Where consent is required for certain cookies or similar technologies, such cookies or similar technologies will only be used after the User has provided the required consent, unless an exemption applies under applicable law.
In case of disagreement with this Cookie Policy or with the use of non-essential cookies, Users may reject non-essential cookies through the cookie banner or cookie settings, adjust their browser settings, or refrain from using the Services where they do not wish any cookies to be placed, subject to the use of strictly necessary cookies required for the operation of the Services.
